We will explore the art of Slow Stitching — celebrating both repetition and the beauty of imperfection.

The beautiful blues and hues, revitalised through the exposure of botanicals to the sun, using the process of cyanotype printing.

This studio brings together many years of experience working with vintage & antique Japanese textiles, classic denim pieces & vintage Mens tailoring.

Based in Shiga, a carefully restored traditional home

& separate artist/student residence, as well as recently completed Studio, provides a creative space set in a beautiful part of Japan.

Seasonal collections are produced as the textiles present themselves. Repurposing them into one-off pieces at a relaxed pace.

The Studio also provides workshops where students will create one-of-a-kind pieces shaped by the history, character, and story of each fabric.
